Roka (as with the rest of our crew) absolutely loved our decision to move out to the country ;) This is our pond out back-before a wind storm knocked over our windmill, however it is still very beautiful and much enjoyed part of our property :)
Roka always found the light
This was when I was doing the 5 week pics for Toshi's litter...it was the only time that Roka (age 10 at the time) jumped the baby gate to come into the room during picture day...Like Toshi's dam Teiko, both Roka & Toshi shared a close bond throughout Roka's life, and often would be lying next to each other with Roka grooming Toshi's ears...

Roka was the start of it all for me insofar as Australian Shepherds, and with his passing has left a huge gap in both Jason & I's hearts. When I initially approached Gail about wanting an Aussie, my goal was for a well behaved dog...with Roka, I got that and so much more! He truly was my constant companion, under foot, and never far from sight...
